About Edwin
I am a guitarist with about 12 - 13 years of experience in playing electric guitar. I studied at the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA and received a degree in Musicology, emphasizing modern music genres such as rock, metal, rap, and video game music while maintaining working knowledge of the history of western classical music. Also studied eastern musical styles from countries such as China and Indonesia.

For anything related to music history, an in-depth outline is developed to create presentations with pictures, text, and videos to create a cohesive presentation to try to convey as much information without being too overwhelming.
For anything guitar related, I work with guitar tab due to the abundance of people picking up guitars despite never having studied music. I use songs as examples to teach certain progressions or techniques. Everything is dependent on what someone wants to learn rather than simply teaching what I know.
