About Emily Jane
Born in a small village near Hannover, I moved to Hamburg at the age of 18 to study Musical Theatre. After graduating as a Theatre performer, I decided to follow my roots, as my dad is English and moved to London.
Several Nanny jobs, Acting Courses and a Barista training later, I started my BA Education and Social Science Degree at St. Mary's University Twickenham, where I graduated with a 1st Class Degree in 2022. During my studies, I worked as a Drama Teacher in a Secondary School.
Combining my passion for Performing Arts and Social Work, I am currently studying Dramatherapy at the University of Roehampton.
Now I am looking forward to meeting you, sharing my native language German with you and helping you increase your grades and love for the German language.

My lessons are for children from primary school age up to Key Stage 4. On request, I can support adults on their German learning journey. I tailor each lesson to the student's unique needs to ensure a comfortable and productive learning atmosphere.
Lessons can be held online or in person (I am based in Richmond). Depending on the student's attention span, I would recommend lessons between 30-60 minutes.
Possible content includes reading and writing practice, grammar exercises, as well as speaking and pronunciation training.
