About Vivian
I've been signing my entire life. Since I was young, I've known basic communication signs for babies and learned more conversational techniques when talking with my uncle with special needs who can't talk. I learned from a CODA (child(ren) of deaf adult(s)) during my high school years to hone and grow the language and learn what they had to teach. I've been immersed in the culture ever since. When I learned am Hard of Hearing, I was glad to already know the language without vocals.

Have you been wanting to learn ASL? Whether that's for yourself or a friend, it's never a bad thing to learn and know. Any age can learn, which is one of the best things!
We'll start with the basics of the ABCs and easy, simple words to use and remember (please, thank you, sorry, yes, no, etc.). As you're ready to progress, we'll make sentences and discuss structure. By the end of our sessions, you will have enough knowledge to be able to hold a conversation.
Having originally known sign to communicate with my uncle with special needs, I took it in high school for an easy A and to fulfill the language requirement. Now being HH myself, it's a wonderful language to know.
