About Raymond
While I was a PhD candidate and student at Stanford, I gave many presentations as a part of my studies and also quite often explained my research to those not in the field of science. I realized during this time that I had a talent for breaking down complex and hard to understand material in a way that anyone could understand regardless of their familiarity with the subject. I would like to use this skill to help you understand material that you find challenging.

Hi my name is Raymond Mckoy and I have a BS in biology from Emory University and a Masters in neuroscience from Stanford University. Out of high school I was accepted at Harvard, Princeton, Duke, Johns Hopkins and matriculated at Emory University, having received their highest academic scholarship. I spent 6 years in the Neurosciences PhD program at Stanford. I have achieved academic success despite facing many life challenges and wish to pass along what I have learned in the process. I also have a talent for explaining complicated material in a way that is easy to understand. I look forward to working with you!
