About Tarrah

Hello,
I am Tarrah. I recently graduated with my master's degree in communications, and I have my bachelor's in English with minors in secondary education and Spanish. I have a passion for learning and education. I used to not like reading because I thought it was difficult. At the time, I didn't know I had ADD, and I didn't find out until grad school when I couldn't focus on my final project. I know what it's like to struggle with learning, and with two college degrees, I know how to help others learn too. There is a science to learning, and I can show you the cheat codes to trick your brain into learning hard stuff the easy way!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to teach you the basics of American English grammar and writing. I have most of my experience teaching college students, but I have also taught middle and high schoolers. Once I am able to see where you are with grammar, reading, or writing, I will personalize lessons based on your needs and personal interests. My teaching philosophy is rooted in comfortability. Even though I am an expert in my field, I don't want my experience and degrees to intimidate you. Look at this tutoring lesson as a mentorship rather than a teacher-student relationship. I want to show you everything I know, so don't be afraid to ask me anything. I am a mad scientist when it comes to learning English, and I can give you the best tour of grammar, reading, and writing.
