About Emily
I studied music education and music performance at the Eastman School of Music and focused on learning to become the best teacher I could be in any musical subject as well as an excellent performer on the double bass. I was also only one course short of earning a third degree in music theory. Rest assured, I know my stuff!

Most theory students are high school students studying for AP exams or college students struggling with their core theory courses, but I accept students ages 8 to 108 of all levels and circumstances.
I am happy to incorporate whatever textbooks you are familiar with. If you don't use one, we will tailor materials to your needs and interests.
