I am someone who also learned English later in life, so I know how intimidating and frustrating it can be to learn. As such, I go about teaching the way I wish I had been taught. I strongly believe the best way to broach any topic is by having a conversation about it, and that is precisely how I conduct lessons. I gauge how much a student knows about a topic, and then try to personalize it as much from there.
