About Alexis

Hey! My name is Alexis. I have been passionate about music since the age of 7. Since then music has always been one of my favorite things to learn about. In grade 12 I was the vocal captain and music captain for my school and I ran multiple events each term to help students of any grade and skill level to display their talents. Since graduating I have continued to study music theory and major in vocals. Outside of my passion for music, I love traveling, animals and cooking. I have been to Fiji, France, Taiwan, Italy and Switzerland. Have you traveled anywhere? I look forward to tutoring you!

About the lesson

I will make sure to incorporate music genres or specific artists that you like to help you understand new information easier. This is due to you being more interested and able to relate to new topics on a more personal level to promote retainment of information. I’m super easy going and am more than willing to suit any learning style.

Alexis tutored me in high school. She is super friendly, funny and patient. Not once did I feel like I didn’t belong there. She goes into detail in a way that makes sense and the way she explains things really simplifies the whole process of learning. She always paid a lot of attention in class and I can tell she has a raw passion for music. This is why she would be a great tutor for you.
