About Daniele
Currently I'm Head of Financial Risk Management at one of the main Italian Asset Management Companies (SGR). I obtained the ARPM (Advanced Risk and Portfolio Manager) certification. I obtained a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance at Bocconi University. Previously I got a Bachelor Degree in Business and Economics at the Polytechnic University of Marche. During my studies I have always favored the practical aspect of each subject by putting into practice what I learned through programming languages such as Python and VBA Excel. I still use these programming languages on a daily basis for work.

I believe that the best way to learn programming and improve your programming skills is the will (or need) to solve a certain problem: having a specific goal in mind is fundamental. My approach focuses on breaking down the main problem into subproblems and transforming the logical reasoning useful for their solution into algorithms that can be implemented using programming languages (Python, VBA). Therefore, Improving the ability to reduce a problem in a series of elementary operations (pseudocode) is of fundamental importance.
