I have an A-level in English Literature, a Bachelors degree in English and a QTS qualification in Secondary English (and currently work in a school FT). I also work as private tutor (face to face).

About Syeda
As an ardent English graduate and teacher/tutor of English, I take pride in my exceptional writing abilities and possess a meticulous eye for organisation and detail. With several years of experience in teaching and bid writing, I aspire to be the most effective tool in today’s modern society, that will enable pupils learning English to reach their full potential. With younger siblings as well as nieces and nephews I am a natural when it comes to interacting with children; children are often drawn to my warm, nurturing yet firm and approachable nature.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing and have a persuasive and creative writing flair. Three examples of my work were published on the Coventry University website and magazine. I am also an avid reader; my much-loved reads being The Drowned World by J.G Ballard and Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte as they include intense reflections, so much so that I have had to re-read some paragraphs or sentences several times to truly understand what they mean and form the basis of much of the escapism I have experienced. These books, although a part of different genres, have a quiet darkness that permeates each chapter, keeping me continually intrigued and unwilling to put them down.
