About Kimberly
I have been tutoring, in particular, for 15 years. I was born in Michigan, raised in the Chicago area and now live in Tampa where we have a private school and tutoring center.
My entire life I have spent working with kids. As a young child, there are many fond memories I have of coordinating neighborhood activities, babysitting and playing school.
I have always loved teaching and learning new things. Once I had children, I enjoyed and took extremely seriously being an at home mom. There were endless opportunities to focus even more closely on working with and teaching all ages and grades.
In particular, I have had decades of experience with an exclusive approach to customized teaching and the countless benefits of learning in a small environment.

I believe the best teaching method is true one to one attention towards each student's academic needs. Ongoing practice to reinforce learned skills is critical. I excel at teaching all student abilities, whether they are gifted, struggling or special needs. I do not believe in surface teaching, therefore, I make certain students do not hove any gaps in all subjects. I take the time needed to explain and be sure students understands all material. I know how to keep students moving at the perfect pace and keep parents informed every step of the way.
