I have been through the wringer when it comes to my academic career. I wasn’t always the best student. But I understand that craving for academic validation. I had the most success in school after leaving a 4-year university and pursuing my associates at a community college. I received a degree in interdisciplinary studies. Before that, I aced classes for English 101 and 102, Race and Ethnicity in Latin America, Inequality in Latin America, Dreams Religion and the Dreaming, Immigration and Refugee Studies, Judaism, Hinduism, Quaker Spirituality, and Anthropology 101. I may not possess a bachelor’s degree, yet, but I am excellent at school, determined even. Simply financially limited in the present moment, but have every intention of finishing my studies and becoming a teacher.
