About Zahra
My main goal is to make the students become better thinkers, and to help them identify any underlying mathematical issues and misconceptions. I try to make the concepts look easy by starting with some motivating examples. Then I proceed to formal definitions and precise definitions. If the examples presented clearly and not confusingly, often help students learn by providing intuition and increasing their motivation. I also provide extensive feedback on their written work.

I have a PhD in Mathematics from Birmingham University.Over the last several years, I have had the opportunity to teach students from a variety of backgrounds (A level, IB, GCSE, Undergraduate,..)and this has given me the ability to respond to a range of learning styles.
