About Aardvark
My name is Paul Mordecai and I am a UK national. I have spent the last 21 years in China, teaching communication English but I have just recently relocated to the UK. My focus is really on getting the students to improve the language skills so that they feel comfortable and delivering their oral English. I have a proven track record and many of my students have now graduated and are working in industries where they are using the English language to their advantage. My experience covers teaching primary, middle, high and university students as well as corporate training with some big major companies based in South East Asia. The materials that I use are both bespoke and branded material, but the most thing that I look at is to make sure that the context fits the interests of the students so that they are comfortable to use the subject matter. I am sensitive to the fact that self-confidence plays an important part in the learning process. I take care on improving the students pronunciation grammar and function and to make sure that they are comfortable in using the language.

Getting the students to use the language by encouraging them to speak out and use the target language. Pronunciation, function and grammar improvement is my main goal. I use common and useful contexts and materials that are useful for the students to use. I have TESOL from Trinity College qualification and I have 22 years classroom and online teaching experience. My lessons are 45-60 minutes duration.
