About Sam
I started my company, MM Education, whilst at Liverpool University 10 years ago, earning my degree in pure Mathematics. I have since then had vast experience teaching at all levels - from KS2, to GCSE, A-Level - as well as providing support for University students and trainee teachers taking their QTS tests.

I have experience of teaching across all age ranges in subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Economics and Business. I have the vital teaching experience and learning styles, as well as detailed knowledge of examinations and exam technique, that are required to achieve the very best grades, all whilst making learning fun, engaging, and straightforward. I also have a great amount of experience motivating and encouraging SEN students, with special programmes adapted to suit their specific learning needs. I provide all my own bespoke resources, adapted to every student, including the very best advanced mathematics, physics, economics, business resources as part of the service. This has taken a huge amount of time to achieve. As for results, my students typically achieve their target grades, with most far exceeding this. Privately supporting over 200 students in the Wirral, Cheshire and Liverpool areas over the last 10 years, I have an excellent track record of results with all types of students. My students currently include KS2, 11 plus, GCSE, A-Level, Further GCSE, Further A-level and more. My aim is to encourage and support those who find their current work challenging, and stretch those who wish to excel past their current level. One to one tutoring has been shown to work very effectively, raising grades by a half to one full grade. I do everything possible to exceed this. By using a fully qualified, experienced teacher with knowledge of exams, exam boards and local schools, you can look to maximise those improvements for yourself or your child. *I am now offering video sessions, if preferred, as well as my usual one to one sessions.
