About Grace
I have been teaching for four years and have worked in education for many more, starting with teaching swim lessons, then moving into tutoring, and eventually becoming a classroom teacher. Each step has deepened my passion for helping students grow. What I enjoy most is working one-on-one with students. It allows me to tailor my instruction to their unique needs, build meaningful connections, and watch their confidence and skills grow in real time. My goal is always to support students in a way that makes learning clear, engaging, and lasting.

As a tutor, I combine clear instruction with engaging methods to help students truly understand what they’re learning. I use visuals to break down complex concepts, making abstract ideas easier to grasp. I also teach tricks and strategies that help students solve problems more efficiently and remember key information.
Practice is central to my approach. I provide targeted, consistent practice opportunities to build confidence and reinforce learning. I also make sure that everything I teach is directly aligned with state standards, so students are not just improving, they are mastering the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and on assessments. I focus on solidifying foundational knowledge in a way that sticks, helping students grow both in skill and self-assurance.
