About Tania
Hi, I’m Tania, a UK-qualified English teacher and former Head of English with over 14 years of classroom and curriculum experience. I specialise in GCSE/IGCSE, A-level, IB English, and academic writing support for students who need clear structure, confidence, and improved grades. I’ve helped hundreds of students: Boost GCSE grades from 3/4 → 6/7/8/9 Strengthen essay structure and analysis Develop high-level writing skills for exams and coursework Prepare effectively for A-level English Language & Literature Improve clarity, grammar, and argument for university essays I offer calm, highly structured, results-driven lessons, perfect for students who need personalised support and someone who truly understands exam criteria. My teaching focuses on three things: 1. Structure: I break essays into simple frameworks so students know exactly how to plan and write answers that match the mark scheme. 2. Clarity: We work on writing that is clear, precise, and analytical. Not waffly or confusing. 3. Confidence: Students feel supported and encouraged to take risks, think deeper, and express ideas with maturity. I provide: - Model answers - Annotated examples - Personalised feedback - Marking with explanations - Exam technique coaching - Writing templates - Lessons that are always tailored to the student’s exam board and goals.
