About Hugo
Graduated from HEC Paris, I was a strategy consultant in the Paris office of McKinsey & Co - after professional experiences in particular in M&A (HSBC Global Banking and Markets), and in Private Equity (PAI Partners).
For 3 years, I have accompanied diverse profiles (incl. juniors and seniors after an experience in industry) to interviews for the Top 10 strategy firms - with more than 50 candidates coached in recent years.

Do you want to join an MBB (ie, McKinsey & Co, BCG, Bain), or more broadly one of the most prestigious strategy consulting firms?
I offer to support you throughout the entire recruitment process, from the construction of the application strategy to the rounds of interviews in real conditions.
More specifically, the coaching offer covers the following areas:
❶ Introduction to recruitment methods
● Presentation of the recruitment processes and specificities to each of the firms considered (eg, nature of the psychotechnical tests, # of rounds, interviewer profiles, etc.,)
● Presentation of the main selection criteria, and expectations of interviewers at each stage of the process
● Presentation of the latest tools and platforms (eg, self-help and partner search groups for case studies, mental calculation application, explanatory videos, audio recordings of successful interviews etc.,) to facilitate preparation, and to save time
❷ Construction of the application
● Presentation of standard examples of CVs and cover letters (also called Cover letter or CL), and the main market standards to be respected
● Exhaustive review of the application file (espe. CV, CL) both in substance (eg, valorization of experiences, adequacy with recruitment criteria), and in form (eg, wording of content, compliance with the expected format, etc. .,) - in French and English
❸ Fit test training
● Presentation of the optimal Story Telling methodology to answer the questions asked during the interviews
● Co-definition of the oral presentation strategy and the experiences to be highlighted
● Focus on the PEI test (ie, Personal Experience Interview) specific to McKinsey & Co
❹ Case study proof training
● Presentation of the key success factors for conducting a case study, in interviewee-led or interviewer-led format
● Presentation of the resolution structures (also called framework) for each case archetype (incl. profitability, growth, M&A / Private Equity, price), and the corresponding methodology
● Conducting interviews in real conditions to progress quickly with cases extracted from real recruitment processes - in French and in English
