About Caspar
Hello, my name is Caspar and I am a university student currently in my final year studying classics. I am an experienced tutor having completed 101 lessons with MyTutor with a 5 star rating. As well as this I have been privately hired as a tutor for a family of three children between the ages of 10 and 14 for three weeks in the build up to their exams. I have also competed my TEFL qualification. I offer tuition for English literature and language for children between the ages of 8 and 15. This is mainly for either common entrance exams for the top English private schools such as Radley, Harrow, Eton, Winchester, Wellington, Marlborough, Stowe, St Mary’s Sherborne and St. Paul’s as well as GCSE students. At a young age I struggled to learn to read because I am dyslexic and have had a challenging journey to reach the academic level I am currently at. What triggered my desire to immerse myself in the world of literature and history is my fascination with the epic works of authors such as Robert Jordan and Steven Erickson. I love the whole new worlds they create and getting lost in them. I also love the theatre. Having watched a lot of theatre I have learnt that variation in the way one learns is an essential aspect of education. I will unlock my students’ potential by trying to get them to enjoy and understand their subjects just as much as I do and have in the past, which will make them push themselves forward, with my help, to the best results.

I will offer lessons that are carefully tailored to the students needs and requirements at the time. I will help with their school work, essay structure, poetry analysis skills and writing fluency. I will get these skills up to A*/A standard at GCSE's. More importantly however, I will motivate my students to become passionate about the subject and hopefully engage them enough from them to wholeheartedly immerse themselves in the vast world of literature.
