About Eve
Currently, I am a student receiving my bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a concentration in healthcare, but my love of learning extends far beyond psychology. I am a City Year Alumni, which is a branch of the AmeriCorps Program. Between high school and university, I dedicated over 1700 hours to specialized training specifically focused on tutoring literacy and mathematics. I have provided tutoring services to 16 adolescents simultaneously, and with my training, 94% of my pupils' in-school grades increased by a full letter grade. I am incredibly hard-working, incredibly passionate about education, and deeply enthusiastic about working with adolescents through their educational careers.

My learning approach is interactive and hands-on. I prefer to have sessions where my scholars are able to learn from the questions they have. With young ones, I utilize games and songs to help with practice and memorization. With older kids, focusing on strategies that help them learn. In early sessions, I enjoy meeting and getting to know my pupils and creating a learning plan that works best for them. I am a huge advocate for independent learning, and center many of my learning strategies around independent interests, creativity, and styles.
