About Kiya
Teaching French is more than just a job for me, France has always been an important part in my life and I love sharing my appreciation for it with others too! I have many years of experience and have worked with all French levels so I can handle most learning content. I’m here to make students feel more confident and comfortable with their French whether it’s for school, a trip to Paris or just for fun!

As a CRLA certified tutor, I have been trained to develop comprehensive and adaptable learning lessons. For the first lesson I like to get to know my student and understand their learning style. In terms of content, I specialize in pronunciation, writing, comprehension and grammar. My lessons involve a lot of exercises and active learning as I strongly believe that true learning comes from more than just a lecture. I also love to give suggestions for tv shows, movies or books that students can engage with to advance their knowledge.
