I am a certified teacher for the ages 0-3rd grade. I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. As an educator myself I am helping students each day who have missing skills or need extra support. I help get students on grade level, and I believe all students can be successful with the right support.

As a teacher, I find that students learn best in their zone of proximal development. If you do not know what that is, it is the gap between what a learner can do independently and what they can achieve with guidance from a more knowledgeable person. That said, I want to help students increase their zone of proximal development as well. To do this, I focus my lessons on an I do, we do, you do model. This is where we start with me modeling and showing how to do something, then we try it out together, and then they do it independently. When working independently, I pay close attention to see what they need support with to support them further. Then we do this model again, focusing directly on the missing skill. We repeat this model till they are successful. I am certified as a teacher from Birth-3rd grade. Therefore, I feel most confident in helping students within this age range because that is my specialty.
