About Irene
I have been tutoring locally for 5 years now and teaching for much longer than that. I believe every student has the capacity to learn, sometimes it’s just a matter of finding a way to explain it so that it makes sense. With experience comes knowing the common pitfalls or misconceptions students might have for a particular concept. This ultimately gives my clients a ‘heads up’ to potentially avoid these errors now and when they encounter these same concepts on future evaluations.

I have over 15 years of experience teaching high school science in Ontario, Canada. The subjects I am most familiar would be grade 9/10 science, grade 11/12 chemistry and grade 11 biology. I do have experience teaching and tutoring grade 9-11 math as well any of the junior grades.
I have a tablet and pen where I write any concepts we are teasing out together as I share my screen to ensure full engagement and interaction. A copy of your notes will be sent to you at the end of each lesson. Hope this gives you a sense of what to expect and hope to hear from you soon!
