About Steven
My name is Steven, my educational background is in law. I have worked in law firms, international organizations, and for a year at a language school. I teach English with a style that seeks to bring together rigor in learning , mixed in with a good spruce of fun. Having students learn through exercises and conversation that draws on their interests is key to driving home the lesson and engaging students so that they get the most out of their learning.

My lessons typically consist of rigorous grammar, reading and writing exercises as a foundation for conversational practice where students are encouraged to focus on learning correct pronunciation and composition of sentences in speaking. The view is to get students comfortable enough to be self starters in the English language, and have a foundation to be able to learn and grow as English speakers in their own time.
