About Sophie
Hi there,
I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Anthropology of development and social transformation at Sussex University. (I am on track for a distinction)
I completed my BA also at Sussex university in Anthropology with a first class degree.
I Love to teach, and have been tutoring my cousin who is 12 years old for the past 2 summers in English language and literature.
I have also completed a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) training weekend course, and am currently in the process of finishing the online training.
My strengths are in English language and literature for ages 10-18, I am an avid reader and writer, and love to inspire young people about books and language. This is an area I am particularly passionate about.
Anthropology is my main subject and passion, I have obtained a first class mark in every single essay I have ever completed at university and am able to inspire original thinking and ideas to this field.
I love interacting with young people and finding ways to inspire and engage them, I am incredibly sociable and friendly and hope I can make a difference with you or your child's learning and confidence at school.
