About Dana
I touched on my two degrees: Montana State University-Social Studies Broadfield Secondary Education(History, Geography, Political Science & Psychology focuses) & Great Lakes University-Biblical Studies(Theology, Old & New Testament, Ethics & Hermeneutics focuses) I have been teaching off & on for the better part of 20+ years. 5 years have been in 'traditional' classroom setting, mostly U.S. & World History(public, private, charter & hybrid schools) mostly Middle & High School level. Both public school curriculum & from a Christian perspective. In 'non-traditional' classrooms, I have taught Theology, globally-in many countries internationally. This can range from teaching Sunday school under a palm tree to larger venues as well. My teaching in Theology spans all age groups from children to teenagers to adults.

The main idea of lessons will be, to create a level of interest/excitement for students, to think for themselves about History and Theology. Depending on the size of the group present, as students begin to formulate questions, allow for discussion and interaction. Although a certain amount of content will need to be delivered, for the class to gain knowledge, we want to encourage liberty of thought and an environment that is safe/judgement free.Levels can range from Middle School, High School & University. Although I possess 2 bachelor's degrees, I am comfortable teaching Young adults & adults alike, and am in the process of pursuing a Graduate degree.
