• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  During med school, classmates and juniors often came to me for help. I enjoyed explaining tough topics, and their positive feedback motivated me to keep teaching. Later, I worked as a medical lecturer, which deepened my passion for education.

• 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach core medical subjects like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and pathology as well as surgery. I especially enjoy anatomy and clinical correlations. Even less popular topics become easier and more interesting with the right approach—and I help with that.

• 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, a teacher who made even the most complex topics simple. His patience and clarity inspired my own teaching style—focused, supportive, and easy to understand.

• 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  Clear communication, patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to see students succeed. A good tutor doesn’t just teach—they simplify, guide, and inspire.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I remember helping a group of juniors struggling with cranial nerves. I used simple diagrams, mnemonics, and clinical scenarios to explain it. One of them told me it was the first time she truly understood the topic and did well in her exam because of it. That moment reminded me why I love teaching.

• 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still face in your subject?

  In medical subjects, the sheer volume of content can overwhelm students. One challenge I often address is helping students go beyond memorization to real understanding—especially in anatomy. I use clinical examples, visuals, and spaced repetition to make learning more effective and less stressful.

• 7) Do you have a particular passion?

  Yes—teaching and surgery. I love connecting textbook knowledge with clinical reality. Teaching lets me share that connection with students in a meaningful way.
