About Alicia
Hello there. My name is Alicia Ran,
and I am truly passionate about teaching English. Teaching this language isn’t just a job for me; it’s a calling and a lifelong commitment. Here’s why I want to teach English:
1. Love for the language. English is a beautiful and versatile language, and I have a deep love for its intricacies, nuances, and its power to connect people worldwide.
2. Global Citizenship. In an increasingly interconnected world, being proficient in English is a form of global citizenship. I want to contribute to creating global citizens who can navigate our world with confidence.
So, when you choose me as your English teacher, you’re not just selecting an educator; you’re choosing someone who is genuinely invested in your growth, and together, we can embark on a journey of language and personal development. Let’s explore the English language and the world as it opens up for you!”

Here are some key approaches that I’ll be using throughout your English lessons.
1. Communicative Language Teaching. This is done by emphasizing real-life communication. Encourage students to use English in practical situations, such as role-plays and discussions.
2. Grammar-Translation Method:
Enhances grammar proficiency
3. Task-Based Language Teaching
Focus on tasks and activities that require students to use English to complete them, fostering practical language skills.
4. Audio-Lingual Method: Use repetitive drills and listening exercises to develop oral and listening skills. This method helps with pronunciation and language patterns.
