About the lesson

I am beginning my new role as a tutor, focusing on enhancing students' skills in both math and reading. My math lessons will cover fundamental arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with introductory topics in fractions and geometry. I plan to use visual aids, interactive games, and practical problem-solving exercises to engage students and solidify their understanding. In reading, my aim is to improve students' comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency by exploring a range of texts and practicing critical reading strategies like summarizing, predicting, and questioning. To monitor progress, I will conduct regular quizzes and reading assessments, providing personalized feedback and adjusting my teaching methods to cater to each student's unique needs. My goal is to build a strong foundation in these core subjects while fostering confidence and a passion for learning.
