About Jordan
I’m TEFL-certified, and I'm from the United States. I’ve studied and taught English for the last year, working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. My favorite role was at an English club in Istanbul with young adult professionals. I’m patient, approachable, and I want every student to feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and improve. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading books, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I have been away from the U.S. for about 14 months! I also like movies, chess, sports, you name it. I care about your progress. I'd like to help!

Hi, I’m Jordan!
I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor specializing in helping students gain confidence, improve fluency, and really trying to --- enjoy --- the learning process. My lessons are focused on what's best for you!
We will tailor to your goals, whether that’s conversation practice, literature analysis, job interview prep, exam support, or ADHD-friendly strategies.
I use real-life scenarios, engaging texts, and practical exercises to learn grammar and vocabulary, and English in everyday situations. A typical lesson might start with a warm-up conversation, followed by focused practice on your chosen topic (like writing, reading, or business communication), and end with a recap of your most important progress.
What sets me apart?
