About Lucas

My name is Lucas, I’m from Brazil and currently living in Chicago. I’ve always been passionate about languages, culture, and communication — and teaching became a natural path for me. I’m fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I love helping people feel confident when expressing themselves in a new language. I have a degree in Law from UNASP (Brazil), and I lived in Chile for over five years, which allowed me to fully learn Spanish in a natural environment. I’ve been in the U.S. for over three years, and I use English daily both socially and professionally. What drives me as a tutor is connection. I enjoy creating relaxed, respectful spaces where students feel safe to practice, make mistakes, and grow. I personalize each lesson to fit your goals and learning style, and I bring cultural aspects, real-life examples, and lots of patience into our sessions.
