About Harris
With a total of 6 years of collegiate level education (and about a decade of overall experience), I am confident that I can teach you what you need to know, while still maintaining a fun environment.
Through the years, I have developed my skills as a musician and engineer using a variety of equipment/techniques. These include:
- Guitar
- Piano
- Drums (I do not have a live kit currently so this would be pad machine based)
- Live DJ techniques
Depending on the student's interests we can definitely incorporate some of these elements in to our lessons.

My teaching style is catered toward those with little to no experience in music production. We will initially be focusing on learning the fundamentals of music production. This includes conceiving ideas, composing and arranging a project, and editing techniques. Depending on the progression of the student, we can briefly explore mixing and mastering as well.
I do not enforce a rigid syllabus. I feel that part of the music production process is letting a piece of work take you where it wants to go. Therefore, sessions will be dictated by the progress the student has made over the previous week.
