About Ashton
I am a dedicated singing tutor with more than 13 years of experience teaching students of all ages—from school and college learners to working professionals. My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students build strong vocal skills, express themselves confidently, and enjoy the journey of learning music.
I provide interactive, student-centered lessons that include vocal techniques, breath control, pitch accuracy, tonal quality, and voice projection. I also teach performance skills such as stage presence, emotional expression, and musical interpretation. Music theory, rhythm, and sight-reading are incorporated to ensure a comprehensive approach to music education. My lessons combine structure, creativity, and practical examples to make learning engaging and effective.
I adapt lessons to each student’s level and goals. Beginners are guided with patience and encouragement, while advanced students receive specialized training for refinement, performance preparation, and achieving personal or professional milestones. I also help students overcome challenges such as stage anxiety, technical difficulties, or inconsistent practice.
My mission is to create a supportive, inspiring, and motivating environment where students can explore their voice, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong passion for music. I focus on both technical mastery and emotional expression, helping students gain confidence and become well-rounded singers.

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on helping students build confidence, healthy vocal habits, and expressive skills. I use real-life examples and case studies from real songs, performances, and daily voice use so students can easily understand how singing techniques work in practice. Empathy is central to my teaching, as I understand that singing can feel personal and emotional, and I support students patiently throughout their learning journey. I follow a flexible teaching approach, adjusting lesson plans and exercises according to each student’s ability, progress, and goals.
Clear communication helps students learn more effectively, and I explain techniques in simple terms while giving regular and constructive feedback. Through a problem-solving approach, I guide students in overcoming challenges such as pitch control, breath support, and vocal tension. In addition to Singing, I teach supporting subjects like music basics, rhythm training, ear training, vocal health, and performance preparation to develop well-rounded singers.
