About Beate
My name is Beate Kirsten, current Bachelor of Occupational Therapy student.
My favourite school subjects included Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, English and Dance and I would love to help others achieve their goals- in school and also extended to personal and social life.
I am passionate about Music (I play piano) and the arts. I love helping others and learning how to accommodate to peoples' different methods of learning and occupations.
The key to my tutoring is establishing a safe space and encouraging students to achieve their best (not someone else's best, your OWN!)

I aim for a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident which is important to advance effectively in studies.
Sessions may look like working through sections of assignments including structure, content and marking guides.
Dependent on what each student requires, content based sessions can range from me preparing keycard notes for active study or topic specific worksheets and worked examples.
For younger grades, I will use creative styles/methods for recall and application of knowledge to highten engagement and accommodate age of student.
