About Mishree
I’m a high honors student who has maintained academic excellence since 5th grade, with a strong passion for helping others succeed. As a tutor, I specialize in K–9 math and focus on making difficult concepts easy to understand through clear explanations and personalized support. I’m bilingual in English and Gujarati, and I adapt each lesson to match the student’s pace and learning style. Outside of academics, I enjoy community service, reading, going to the gym, drawing, and paper quilling. I bring creativity, patience, and dedication to every session to help students build both skills and confidence.

My approach to online math tutoring is interactive, visual, and student-centered, designed to keep learners engaged, even through a screen.
I use virtual whiteboards, drag-and-drop manipulatives, and screen sharing to demonstrate math concepts in real-time. Concepts are broken down clearly, with each step modeled, explained, and then practiced by the student. Students are constantly involved in typing answers, drawing on the screen, or explaining their thinking aloud. I celebrate effort and improvement, helping students build math confidence and reduce anxiety.
My warm-up for the student is typically a simple problem to introduce the topic they are struggling with, or review a problem. After they finish solving it, I will ask them to walk me through it and correct any wrongs. Then I will provide similar problems to what they are actually struggling with, and we solve problems together on a shared screen or whiteboard. Once I think the student may be able to solve a problem themselves, I will ask them to do it completely on their own and if they're stuck I'll give hints. Lastly, I will review key takeaways and check their understanding.
What sets me apart as an Online Tutor is that I am patient and communicate clearly. I explain math in multiple ways, adjusting based on how a student learns best (visual, verbal, step-by-step). In addition, every lesson is tailored to the student's current level and learning style, whether they need remedial support or advanced enrichment.
