I highly recommend Matthew as a tutor. I am a math educator with 25+ years of experience working with K-12 students. Recently, I heard Matthew helping my 17 year old daughter who is studying u-substitution in her calculus class. He helped her over facetime. He asked her thoughtful questions (I teach the topic myself). When she readily knew answers, he probed, "You seem to have an excellent intuition, but can you articulate why that is a good option for u in this case?" He pushed my daughter to reason out why she should make certain choices rather than just relying on her instincts, and he made a subject which is typically anxiety-provoking for her seem calm and fun.
