As a student, I scored in the highest percentile (99%) of ACT test takers across the United States. I scored a 5 on my mathematics AP exams, and have a 4.0 weighted GPA
As a tutor and coach, I have worked for years teaching youth tennis and fostered greatness on and off the court. I have tutored fellow students and taken grades from a C-D average to an A average for the semester through consistent tutoring.

As a student who used to struggle with math, I know how difficult it can be when explained improperly. I spent hours each day in class teaching myself the concepts because many times, the given explanation wasn't thorough enough or just didn't click with me.
However, this experience gave me a deep understanding of the fundamentals of mathematics, which helps me understand where a student is coming from and what might help them succeed.
Additionally, as a youth tennis coach, I have a lot of experience working with younger children, and a good understanding of how to teach them.
A typical session with me would consist of:
- Student introduction and overview of shaky concepts (i.e. what isn't understood)
- Reviewing student homework/past exams to find weaknesses
- Demonstration and explanation of misunderstood concepts to correct understanding
- Practice problems for further understanding, and recommendations for future study
I am very grateful for the opportunity to help others with their studies. However, there are some students which I am not qualified currently to teach, as my skills are still developing.
