About Shatoria
Hello! My name is Shatoria, and I am an enthusiastic and dedicated math tutor currently in high school. As a high school senior who recently excelled in advanced mathematics, I bring a fresh, relatable perspective to tutoring middle school and high school students. My teaching method focuses on breaking down complex algebraic and geometric concepts into digestible, step-by-step pieces using interactive visual tools and practical examples.A typical 60-minute lesson plan begins with a 10-minute review of previous assignments or troublesome topics, followed by a 25-minute core session introducing the new mathematical concept. We then spend 20 minutes solving practice problems together to build confidence, finishing with a 5-minute wrap-up to summarize what we learned.What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students as a peer.
