About Chloe
Hi everyone! I'm Chloe, a rising senior at the Bergen County Academies. I'm an avid creative writer and have honed my skills through literature classes at school. My work has been recognized by the Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition, where I had received a silver key for personal memoir, the Rising Voices award in the fiction category, the National Council Teachers of English Supreme Writing Award, and the New Jersey Council Teachers of English Writing Contest, where I had received first place in short story. I am currently a Junior Editor for Polyphony Lit and a Managing Editor of Scribere International Journal, two international literary youth journals. I am also the President of my school's creative writing club. In my free time, I enjoy watching Netflix shows.

I will teach middle schoolers for creative writing and high schoolers for SAT reading prep. My teaching methods for creative writing include providing exercises for the students that will hone their brainstorming approaches, editing their works on my free time, and offering competition ideas. My teaching method for SAT will be to provide numerous practice problems and approaches to improve their scores. I don't provide too much homework.

Chloe has been a friend of mine for the past three years, and if there is something I can say about her, it is that she makes a great teacher. Not only is she great at understanding others, but she is firm in getting her points across. There is no question that this would definitely help in her teaching students. Considering her exceptional skill with the violin, I am sure that she will excel in passing this mastery onto her students.
Learning from Chloe will be a valuable experience void of boredom and replaced with a friendly, social tutor who will immediately create a comfortable environment for her students. Sometimes, they may even think of her as a trustworthy friend who they can rely on rather than a simple tutor they meet occasionally for their lessons. I am sure Chloe will take great care of her students and place their interests first, given her almost maternal nature.
