About Anaisilia
I’ve always been around younger kids and have a natural ability to connect with them, making them feel comfortable and at ease. Whether through tutoring or everyday interactions, I know how to create a friendly, fun environment that helps kids enjoy learning instead of dreading it. I’ve consistently been at the top of my class in both English and math, and I bring that strong foundation to my tutoring sessions. I’ve worked with younger students on a variety of subjects, including Ancient Greek history, Shakespeare, plays and literature, as well as elementary math and middle school English/writing. By keeping lessons engaging and relatable, I focus on building students' confidence and making learning a positive experience that they look forward to.

As a high school senior, I connect with elementary and middle school students by understanding how they think and where they struggle. My teaching approach is patient and student-centered, focusing on empathy and clear explanations. I begin each lesson by identifying the student’s challenges, then break down the material into manageable steps. I guide them through problems, providing examples and allowing them to try on their own. I make sure to reinforce learning with quizzes or practice problems to check for understanding. What sets me apart is my ability to relate to my students on a personal level, creating a supportive and comfortable environment where they feel confident to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they're struggling with a particular topic or just need extra support to stay on track. I strive to help my students not only improve academically but also gain confidence in their abilities.
