About Hannah
As a high school sophomore with a strong foundation in reading comprehension and a passion for helping others, I specialize in supporting K–5 students as they build essential reading skills. My approach combines phonics, repetition, and engaging activities to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I’m especially patient with young learners who may struggle or need extra encouragement, and I always adapt to each child’s pace to ensure they feel confident and supported. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful early reading support can be—my younger sister began reading with me at age three and now tackles advanced books far beyond her grade level. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a positive learning environment. High school sophomore offering reading support for K–5 students, online or in person (if nearby).
I use phonics, repetition, and engaging activities to help younger children build strong reading skills. My lessons typically include a warm-up, a recap of the previous session, and focused reading practice using short stories and age-appropriate books. I’m especially patient with kids who struggle in school and always adjust the pace to meet their needs, including taking breaks when needed.
I’ve helped my younger sister learn to read since she was three, and she now reads advanced books well beyond her grade level. My parents often praised my calm, supportive approach—especially during the early stages when learning was most challenging.
