About Holland
When teaching, I accompany writing prompts with written and repeated verbal instruction in addition to other documents that guide her students to completion. I take pleasure in ensuring that my tudents understand the given prompt, utilize the organizers, and follow the steps of the writing process to produce well-developed written responses. I consider it my duty to prepare my students for their advancement to the next grade and/or higher education. However, I also believe that students should be held accountable for their success. Both students and teachers must contribute to their academic success.

I enjoy the satisfaction of helping others, seeing students comprehend the material, and the rapport that I build with my students.
In addition to my experience teaching high school English Language Arts, I have tutored math and writing from middle school( math )to college level( writing). I ensure that my teaching style reflects my acknowledgment of the fact that my students have different learning needs. One of my goals is to exude patience. The display of patience can potentially generate a level of confidence in students that, as a result, gives students the confidence to tackle challenging assignments. I develop rapport by determining students’ likes and dislikes.
