About Mikayla
I have demonstrated leadership in both choir and marching band. In my choir class, I have helped guide and support my fellow students when the director was absent, helping maintain focus and continuity. I have also taken on leadership responsibilities in marching band, contributing to the organization and success of the ensemble.

I take a patient, supportive approach and tailor my instruction to each student’s needs, allowing them the time and encouragement needed to learn. When I encounter a question I cannot answer, I am transparent about what I do not know and take the time to research it. My skills and teaching approach are likely best suited to working with elementary and middle school music students.
