About Marta
My name is Marta, and I am a dedicated high school student offering online tutoring in math and chemistry. I take my role as a tutor seriously and always aim to create a positive, respectful, and well-structured learning environment for every student.
As a current student, I am very familiar with today’s curriculum and expectations. This allows me to explain concepts clearly, using methods that are up to date and easy to understand. I believe that learning should feel supportive rather than stressful, so I focus on patience, encouragement, and clear communication in every lesson.
I am organized, punctual, and well prepared for each session. I adapt my teaching style to match the student’s level and pace, making sure they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing difficulties. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and independence in math and chemistry.
I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students who are looking for clear explanations, consistent support, and a tutor who genuinely cares about their progress.

My Approach as a Tutor
My name is Marta, and as a high school student, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in math and chemistry. My approach focuses on clarity, patience, and building strong foundations. I break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style. I encourage questions at all times and make sure students truly understand why something works, not just how to memorize it.
Teaching Methodology & Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new concepts using clear explanations, examples, and visual methods when helpful. We practice together step by step, followed by guided problem-solving where the student works independently while I provide support. I end each session by summarizing key ideas and identifying areas to practice, helping students feel confident and prepared for schoolwork and exams.
What Sets Me Apart
What sets me apart is relatability and recent experience with the curriculum. I recently mastered the same material my students are learning, so I know where confusion usually happens and how to explain it in a way that makes sense. I am patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence, especially for students who feel anxious about math or chemistry.
