About Gabrielle
As a high school student who has been advanced in reading since elementary, helping others has always interested me. I love to help others at their own pace, without feeling overwhelmed in a rushed environment. I will provide a safe space for all of my students. Growing up, I’ve always loved reading and writing, there’s so many fun, effective ways to learn about English without it being “boring” or “too many words.” English is so much more than that and I hope that I can help people realize that!

Being strong in English is significant. As your tutor I am excited to assist with that help. The first lesson will be a Reading Assessment/Comprehension. This is to see where you’re at in your English skills. After we assess that, you will go into parts of speech, sentence structure, spelling patterns, vocabulary, punctuation & capitalization, reading skills, and writing practice. It may seem like this is a lot, but these lessons will be sure to bring your reading level from grade school to college level. These lessons will be broken up into 1 hour. 10 minutes of Reading Aloud, 15 Minutes of a grammar lesson, 15 minutes of spelling/vocabulary, 15 minutes of Reading Comprehension, and 5 minutes of independent work.
