About Josie
I am looking to help students with homework in math and help them be more confident with their ability to do it. I love helping my friends and classmates with their homework already, and love to see how happy they are when they finally understand. Please be aware that I am still a highschool student, and my hours may vary from week to week.

I have never tutored before and am looking forward to gaining experience with it. I typically do an example problem then encourage the student to try the next problem on their own. If they get stuck on a step I will help them out and try to think of a way for them to remember what to do. As I am a highschool student, I cannot teach past my grade level. So in general I offer basic math help from grades 1 to 7. Past that I offer help in pre-algebra and algebra 1.
