About Jenny
I am a high school student tutor with a strong foundation in math and a passion for helping younger students succeed. I can explain concepts in a clear, simple, and relatable way that makes it easier for students to understand and remember.
I am patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence as well as improving grades. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with math by breaking down problems step by step and making sure they fully understand each concept before moving on.

My teaching approach is focused on identifying and strengthening each student’s weak areas while building a solid understanding of core concepts. I aim to make math both approachable and engaging, so students gain confidence as well as accuracy.
I use a concept-first approach, ensuring students truly understand the concept before moving on to more complex problems. I combine:

I focus on both academic improvement and student mindset. My lessons are structured but flexible, allowing me to adapt to each student’s pace. I emphasize understanding over memorization and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
