About Sam
I have been playing bass trombone with the Denver Young Artist Orchestra for 2 years. I have performed at venues such as Boettcher Concert Hall, Dazzle Jazz Club, Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Carnegie Hall, and the Iridium Jazz Club. I have been playing low brass instruments for 7 years and have always wanted to teach.

I bring a fun and understandable approach to music that makes it feel not so overwhelming. I love to use method books as a way of making learning easier and more enjoyable. What I feel sets me apart from other tutors is that I am still learning as well and I feel that I can easily pass my knowledge on. I am able to tutor anyone playing a low brass instrument (trombone, baritone/euphonium, and tuba)
