About Marc
I have a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University ( Davie). I have been working for Broward County Public Schools for the past 19 years.
I have worked at all academic levels:
Middle School Teacher
Middle School Assistant Principal
Middle School Intern Principal
Elementary School Intern Principal
Alternative Education Center/Adult- Intern Principal ( working with at-risk and dropout prevention students)
I am starting my 28th year as a public school educator/leader. My experience in public school leadership roles demonstrates my deep knowledge and understanding of the public education system. Long-tenured leaders develop valuable institutional knowledge.
Leading a public school is complex, with responsibilities ranging from academic oversight to budgeting, personnel management, community relations, and more. I have substantial expertise across all domains of school leadership.
I have led initiatives or reforms within my school or district over multiple years. I have partnered with several parent groups and community stakeholders. This experience in building coalitions is invaluable.
