About Isabela
Hello! My name is Isabela (but my friends call me Izzy!), and I am a dedicated English tutor with a passion for helping young learners discover the joy of reading. For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching primary school students, guiding them from their first phonics sounds to becoming confident, independent readers. My career has been built on the belief that every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement. I specialize in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and, most importantly, build confidence in their abilities. My approach is simple: I get to know your child's unique strengths and challenges to create lessons that are perfectly tailored to their needs. In our one-on-one online sessions, we will work together to build foundational skills, improve comprehension, and foster a genuine love for books and stories.
